Movies had always been the favourite entertainment options for most people, may it be in India or abroad. However, when we talk about India as a whole, there are many film industries that produce movies in regional languages. Each of them have their own style of presentation and story lines that depict their respective regional cultures. What is amazing here is that, in spite of being a multi lingual and a multi cultural country, there is always a striking resemblance that exists between every movie, irrespective of which language it is made of. In this context, the Hindi movies are the most famous in India. The reason is simple. Hindi is a national language and is understood by all. Infact, even some of the biggest film buffs have considered that, the Indian film industry is one of the biggest as well as the most rapidly expanding business industry in the entire world.

All these years I had a wrong notion about Bollywood movies. I thought, that most of the Hindi films are either romantic or are action packed with the hero running after the villain on horses. However, it is really stunning to see that some of the latest movies that have currently been released have come up with unique concepts and story lines that were rarely found in Hollywood before. For instance, Bollywood movies like Dev D, Phook, Stone man, not only depicts the deep rooted culture of India but also throws a light on the real life happenings.

Infact, another latest movie that has created waves through out the world is the Slumdog Millionaire. It clearly throws a light on the hardships of poor people in India as well as the journey of a young guy from slums to instant fame and power. It indeed deserved Oscar, especially A.R.Rehman for his unique sound effect which you hardly get to see in Hollywood films. Other than this, some of the upcoming movies, that are yet to be released are Wanted Dead and Alive, Horn OK Please, Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot and many more.
